Summary: England, 1526 – Irina Derevko is a terrorist and a spy who aims at killing England’s queen. She’s a courageous woman, hiding her dangerous life behind her noble name. Nobody at court would have gotten the idea that Lady Irina Derevko and her sisters are playing leading roles in the terrorist ring. Her cover seems perfect until one evening she’s fascinated by one of the contacts she was to meet. Not knowing that he is the queen’s chief of security, she flirts with him, even tells him her forename.
The queen’s personal counselor in security, Jack Bristow, is also fascinated in the courageous and beautiful woman. It’s the start of an adventure were two enemies have to learn to trust each other and look behind the lies they have learned to believe their whole lives…

This story is unfinished and will not be finished!
However, since I have received a couple of requests to put the existing chapters back online recently, here it is! :) Enjoy!
Until then, please excuse the many flaws, and rest assured, I know better now. ;) (Or at least I hope so.)
Statement about the “Unfinished” Status of the Story:
The reasons for why I never finished this story are simple: I didn’t have enough time in 2004/2005 to finish it. The reasons for why I don’t pick up on this story again are various:
1. I feel that this wasn’t one of my strong stories
2. Regardless of 1. it would require a lot of work (and time!) to revise the grammar and plot errors (especially historical data as well), and I just feel that I have more promising projects going on at the moment and coming up in the future.
What it comes down to, for me, I think, is the fact that in retrospect, I don’t like this story that much. I know it was really popular, and people enjoyed reading it a lot, so that’s the only reason why I’m putting it up here again for reading.
If you want to finish the story, please feel free to do so! Just keep my author’s name for the first 30 chapters, and send me a message about where you published it. I’d be very interested in reading it!
