Art -> Musicvideos

The subject 'Musicvideos' needs a little bit of explanation, I think. Among fans of TV-series on the internet, it is common, that some of them create relationship-themed musicvideos. Those videos consist of scenes from the TV-series and sometimes scenes from the original musicvideo, if available, to form a series-related video.

All my musicvideos are made with Corel PhotoPaint 8, since I have a very old computer, which doesn't even work with Windows MovieMaker yet. Therefore I had to cut and paste every single image. And most of the videos are sampled to 12.5 images per second. So you can imagine how long it took me to finish it.

"Not Me, Not I" by Delta Goodrem (January 2004)
Size: 3.7 MB | Format: wmv (Windows Media Player required)
Description: The beautiful and roantic video of D. Goodrem in a new J/I version...

Comment: This was my very first musicvideo. I created it in January 2004, and it took about five days of constant work. It is very low wuality, and watching it today, I think, that neither frame sizes, nor sampling matches. But it is interesting (especially for me), how the quality improves with the other two videos made afterwards.

"Love Will Find a Way" Romantic Duet (December 2004/January 2005)
Size: 7.5 MB | Format: wmv (Windows Media Player required)
Description: A very romantic duet (sung by Kenny Lattimore & Heather Leadley) with scenes from the original musicvideo mixed with scenes from the Alias episodes.

Comment: I love this second video much more than the first one. Again it took about five days to complete, but this time I converted the video streams into matching sampling rates first - you learn from your mistakes.

"Living To Love You" by Sarah Connor (August - October 2005)
Size: 7.3 MB | Format: wmv (Windows Media Player required)
Description: A very romantic song with scenes from the original musicvideo mixed with scenes from the Alias episodes.

Comment: This is my last musicvideo, and this time I went great lengths. Instead of using scenes, that were already online and converted into the proper format, I took all scenes from my original DVDs this time to make sure that all pictures were the same in quality and matched with the original video. That went out rather well, although it was a time-consuming procedure. That is why this video took three months to complete. I had a huge amount of scenes to chose from this time, since I could use the original series.
But despite (or rather because of) all this work and time I put into this, it is still my favorite. It tells the most coherent story and offers the highest quality of all my videos.
